Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) is a research centre financed by the State promoting excellence in basic and applied research and encouraging the development of the national economy. IIT research activities are dealing with robotics, nanomaterials, technologies for life science, computational science and AI.

IIT's total staff, comprised of 1700 people from more than 60 countries distributed in 12 centers in Italy and 2 outstations abroad (USA), can boast a scientific production of more than 12500 publications, over 200 European projects and more than 30 ERC (European Research Council) projects, almost 800 active patent applications, 20 established start-ups and more than 30 under due diligence.

Our ideas in everyday life

- Collaboration for Robotics research in civil applications
- Collaboration for Exoskeleton reserach in civil applications
- Scientific support for experimental activities for civil applications
- Problem analysis and discussion of associated solutions to problems that can be addressed with Robotics and Exoskeletons
- Networking and dissemination events
- Discussions for participation of Comune di Torino to European and National projects

The Italian Institute of Technology supports the above collaboration with some of its research lines and laboratories:
- Dynamic Interaction Control
- Rehab Technologies IIT INAIL Lab
