Circolo del Design foster and disseminates the culture of the project in order to contribute to reinforce the territorial design system and to encourage the connections between the project’s expertise and the productive, social and cultural world.

It pursues its mission through the production of cultural and educational activities, the development of professional opportunities between companies and designers and the collaboration with the institutions for the creation of design systems at the service of the territory.
Circolo del Design was born in 2015 on the occasion of the designation of Turin as Unesco Creative City, in 2019 from the Giolitti Terrace of Carlo Mollino it moved to the ancient stables of Palazzo Costa Carrù della Trinità with a new direction, a new work team and new areas of action.

Circolo del Design: a new home for design culture.

- Identify start-ups and innovative companies to be involved in the area that can develop the innovation ecosystem;
- organization of support activities to the City (e.g. territorial animation);
- provide support in terms of communication on initiatives consistent with the institution's mission and related to the design sector;
- Involve its own network of professionals and designers consistent with the topics that we cover.

The assets on which Circolo del Design is based are the cultural programming and impact projects. Among the interventions of the Circolo in 2021 there is the consisting of a temporary exhibition and an international meeting.
Within the exhibition there is Local Impact: a section dedicated to the impact generated by the Interaction-Ivrea institute on the Piedmont area. To this is connected an Open Call, visible at this llink, which aims to map projects, resources and skills in the Piedmont area, which have worked by placing people at the center of services, experiences or products with high technological value in various fields.
